The single sessions are optional...

I am a regular at the baths in Erdington and I have been to most of the different sessions run there so I thought I would write you a more comprehensive review. This is a very relaxed, very friendly and very straight venue, the Turkish bath section consists of a sauna, 2 steam rooms (one hotter than the other), a large plunge pool and 3 large dry heat rooms at different tempratures. There are hot and cold showers and changing facilities with lockers. The single sex sessions are costume optional and everyone takes advantage of this and goes nude (you will need a costume if you want to use the main pool as well though). The baths are pretty old and looking a bit rough around the edges but I understand a refurb is imminant. The naturist sessions are run once a week but this is for the pool only, they also run a Saturday night monthly session which includes all facilities, this is friendly and well attended with a diverse mixture of patrons and a fairly equal gender balance and is strictly nude. There is also a Sunday morning mixed session but this should be avoided as costumes are required Roger
