Reducing Stress

Conflict is at the root of most stress. A lot of stress is caused by dilemmas, having to decide between two conflicting aims, it?s the most challenging thing a human being can face. The second human menace is deadlines. The nervous system follows a certain rhythm and pattern. When you hurry it up you become stressed because the mind has its own cyclical pattern. You may complete the work in a certain period but the moment you create a deadline you create stress. The final form of stress comes from human relationships. Conflicts, clashes, quarrels, overcrowding, antisocial behaviour, people who tell you you are wrong. Furthermore, nearly all stress derived from these three causes is unavoidable.

De de-Stress-Therapy™ Diet

To reduce stress follow the diet below:

restrict alcohol to champagne and preferably less than 6 units a night

eat mostly organic meat, poultry and other foods 

cut down on consumption of yeast products (beer, bread, pizza ,marmite etc) ? try to avoid them all together on 3 to 4 days a week and moderate consumption on other days

cut down on fried foods and hot and spicy foods?once or twice a week at maximum

go easy on and preferably avoid salt 

Restrict coffee to one a day, preferably decaff

go easy on cheese and mushrooms

drink carrot, celery apple and ginger juice 

drink 6-8 (half pint) glasses of still water a day in between meals

Avoid fizzy drinks 

go easy on chocolate, cakes, biscuits and similar sources of sugar go easy on citrus fruits, oranges,lemons, grapefruit

Avoid crisps and similar snacks

eat plenty of fresh vegetables.
