Hi Re Cardiff new sauna

Unfortunate since the Empire Pool of great fame passes into memory 10 years since. We who frequented its hallowed rooms for over 30 years have had very little in Cardiff. However I hear that a Sauna is opening in the Sports Village in Cardiff Bay in the Spring, what it will be like I don't know. I hope however that is a little better than the usual sauna box, plastic steam suite that is all to common. I will check it and send you a report if you are interested. To be candid its the usual bog standard sauna Suite which have appeared all over the country. Nice large sauna (24) box and steam room smallish Jacuzzi. What has disappointed me is that there is very little room to cool off and relax after a bath. Not a patch on the old empire, nearest real Turkish is Porchester baths, I think? Kingsley
